Q1: How do you want the artwork saving?
When saving artwork for a quote a .jpg or .gif will normally do. When saving artwork to be used by us for decorating your products then the file type needed depends on the type of decoration your having done. For more information please look at the artwork questions under the decoration service you are using.

Q2: How do you want the artwork sending?
Email all artwork to artwork@birkdalestudios.co.uk.

If the file your sending is bigger then 1mb then it would be best if you zipped it.

You can also post you artwork on a floppy or CD to:

Birkdale Studios
153a Upper Aughton Road,
Birkdale,
Southport,
Merseyside.
PR8 5EX

We can also scan artwork from good quality prints and as long as this is part of a job we are producing for you we wont charge you.

Q3: How much do you charge for editing or creating artwork?
The amount we charge is dependent on what we have to do. If you just need something altering slightly and the artwork is part of a job then we normally wont charge. The same applies if you just want some basic text.

If you want us to create something for you or make major alterations then we will charge you based on what need doing. We would send you a fixed quote and only charged you what we have agreed even if it takes us longer.

Also extra charges are incurred for digitizing artwork for embroidery. More information on this is found under the embroidery section of our FAQ.
